YESTERYEAR PLANTATIONS

High up in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains near the northern end of Kosciuszko National Park, at 810 metres altitude, is where you will find Andrea and Paul Sturgess of Yesteryear Plantations.  They grow and distil the Narrow Leaf Peppermint Eucalyptus Tree that produces a very unique type of 100% pure natural Australian ‘Radiata’ Eucalyptus Oil. 

Yesteryear Plantations create a wide range of products available to purchase online through their website or at their farm shop, including:

• 100% pure natural eucalyptus oil
• Large range of environmentally friendly home cleaning products (safe for septic & grey water tanks)
• Personal care products including soaps, hair & body care
• Gift products
• Pet care products including dog & cat shampoo

Andrea and Paul also harvest and distil Rosewood’s Broad Leaf Peppermint ‘Dives’ Eucalyptus Oil.  Their website has a wealth of information and tips for using their products in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garden (pest control) and personal hygiene. 

Book a tour group visit of the farm which includes viewing the eucalyptus boiling process demonstrated and explained, tour of the farm shed with a product ‘how & where to use it’ chat followed by ‘any questions’ and time to roam the garden rebuild after the Jan 2020 fires.  The farm shop will have all of Yesteryear’s products for purchase and lunch/morning tea tour options are also available.

Yesteryear is also a perfect wedding venue with a stunning backdrop of lake and mountain views.
