MAROUKA LODGE

Since 1968, Marouka Lodge has been a popular, family friendly destination at Mt Hotham Alpine Resort.  It sits in a prime position just back from the Great Alpine Road, moments to Jack Frost bus stop (No.7).  There’s direct access over the road to ski out via Frosty’s Drop and an easy walk to the General Store and also the Big D, where you’ll find a fantastic beginners area, ski school and night skiing.

Marouka is a membership club and welcomes public guests, year-round.  In Winter it’s all about the snow, with the downhill slopes Hotham is renowned for and cross country trails nearby to Marouka and of course families enjoying their first time in the snow.  During the green season (Oct-May), Marouka is a base for hikers exploring the spectacular trails.  This conveniently located lodge also attracts long distance adventurers undertaking the epic, 680km Australian Alps Walking Track.  Marouka is an affordable and welcome haven and a break from camping in a tiny tent along the trail. 

The lodge is well-equipped featuring a communal kitchen, lounge room and dining area.  Along with drying room, laundry and equipment storage, Marouka offers a variety of rooms and bedding configurations.
