The iconic Australian Alps Walking Track passes through this area, following the Great Dividing Range for 655km, with Walhalla, at the southern end of the track, and the northern end being on the outskirts of Canberra. Some bushwalkers taking on this hike, do so in stages and Glen Wills Wilderness Retreat is a perfect place to set off from or to base yourself and explore the surrounding wilderness and retire to a comfortable bed and warm hospitality each evening.
