TINTALDRA HOTEL
As the mighty Murray River makes its way out of the rugged High Country between the Snowy Mountains and the Victorian Alps at the start of its journey, it meanders through stunning farmland and the first pub it passes is the Tintaldra Hotel. This much-loved country pub was built over 150 years ago and is a popular destination for locals and also visitors travelling from afar.
The Tintaldra Hotel prides itself on its hospitality, cold beer and delicious food. Their menu is extensive and they enjoy serving the best local produce available from the surrounding district. From curry nights to pizza & parmi nights, hearty soups and fundraisers supporting local committees, this historic country pub is well worth a visit!
Depending on the season you might choose to sit near the roaring open fire or outside in the shady beer garden or under the veranda with a backdrop of rolling rural views. The Tintaldra Hotel also caters for private functions and groups and are a regular stop for motoring clubs. Walk a few moments to shady riverside picnic and fishing spots and one of the most impressive stands of poplars you’ll ever see, lining both sides of Tintaldra Rd, just over the Murray River, an unforgettable highlight in Autumn.
Take away is available and accommodation is available onsite in their glamping tent or next door at the Clearwater Caravan Park. The glamping tent features TV, Foxtel, Queen Bed, Mini-Bar Fridge and many other comforts.
