Thredbo Valley Horse Riding was established in 1993. It has gone from strength to strength and is regarded as a premier horse riding destination for adults and children, from beginners to advanced, we can offer a ride for everyone. We can provide a simple pony ride for the kids through to longer rides for the more adventurous.

Nev Barrass, owner and operator of Thredbo Valley Horse Riding, has a passion for his beautiful horses and plays an important role in trying to protect and support the wild brumbies that live in the Snow Mountains. Nev loves the history of the High Country and his commitment to the horses of the mountains is what gives Thredbo Valley Horse Riding its unique character and keeps visitors coming back year after year.

We offer pony rides for littlies under 8 years old on quiet horses and 1 – 2 hour rides, half day rides and longer specialty rides available.
