PARLIAMENT HOUSE
CANBERRA
Parliament House is the focal point of Canberra as it sits prominently atop Capital Hill and is one of the most open parliamentary buildings in the world. Experience Australia’s robust democracy in action by joining a guided tour, watching Question Time, see bills being debated, and sit in on committee inquiries as current issues are explored in detail.
Public areas can be explored such as the spectacular Marble Foyer, the Great Hall, featuring one of the largest tapestries in the world. You’ll also find some of Australia’s finest historical treasures and contemporary art on display throughout the building, and in our permanent and temporary exhibitions.
