MT TUMBARUMBA MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK

Mt Tumbarumba Mountain Bike Park is becoming a premier destination for mountain bikers and offers an exhilarating experience with gravity focused trails, breathtaking rugged landscapes and a deep connection to the resilience of the Tumbarumba community.  The park features 22km of trails with 315 metres of elevation, designed to challenge and inspire riders of all skill levels. A shuttle service operates (see website and socials for details) or 6km of climbing trails get you to the top.  There’s also 8km of hiking trails through forests and granite outcrops offering stunning views.

Bushfires devastated this region in early 2020 and the local community secured a bushfire recovery grant and the cycling club raised money to purchase the land the park was created on and a bushfire affected landscape was transformed into a premier mountain bike park.  The Mt Tumbarumba Mountain Bike Park is Australia’s first community owned and operated mountain bike park and as a paid access facility, visitors can enjoy the adventure knowing their fees contribute to maintaining and developing the trails and facilities into the future.  Tumbarumba also offers cross-country cycling networks, a pump track, bike playground and the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail.
