Jo Ross-Jackson has been providing audiology services to the Alpine region for over 7 years and in 2020 Jo opened her own business under the name Jo Ross-Jackson Hearing Centres. Their main office is based in Myrtleford at the former Ponderosa building which has been fully renovated inside providing comfortable and modern clinicians rooms and waiting room. This office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm every week with Jo available for appointments every fortnight. They also take fortnightly appointments at Standish Street Surgery and Bright Allied Health, regularly visit clients at local aged facilities and can provide home visits if needed.
As a small independent company, Jo Ross-Jackson Hearing Centres offer a range of products and services tailored to suit an individual’s needs. The latest in testing equipment is used and they are accredited to supply fully funded hearing aids to Pensioners, DVA and WorkCover clients as well as looking after private clientele.
There is no charge for referrals from GPs and hearing tests are always free (except for VicPol applications and Pre-employment). They offer a wide range of hearing aids to choose from including completely hidden in the ear, rechargeable small discreet behind the ear, assistive listening devices for the telephone as well as Bluetooth connectivity for android and iPhone.
After the initial fitting, all consultations and adjustments, if required, are completely Free of Charge for the life of the hearing aid. Jo Ross-Jackson Hearing Centres are not limited to hearing aids and hearing tests, with tinnitus counselling and management solutions offered. Custom made noise plugs and swim plugs are available and they also offer assistive listening devices (headphones for the TV).
