The Beechworth wine region in the foothills of the Victorian Alps is a special place. Its unique geology and warm, sunny days and cool nights produce wines of elegance that rate with the best in the world.
Taste award-winning wines in a relaxed sit-down format with fresh Pinot Grigio, perfect for a BBQ on a summers day, elegant Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and more. A generous and informative experience.
Stay at Indigo Vineyard in their 4 bedroom 2 bathroom homestead that sleeps up to 10 guests. The homestead features a large, well-equipped kitchen, BBQ, central heating and air conditioning, combustion fireplace, free WiFi and 4 bikes are included for use during your stay.
(The kids – and kids at heart – can also be entertained with Bocce and the pigs in the animal nursery.)
Indigo uses sustainable practices in the vineyard including tonnes of mulch and compost, applying biodynamic applications to promote soil health and getting rid of chemical herbicides. A flock of Dorper sheep do their part by keeping down the grass between the vines, reducing use of diesel and soil compaction while putting fertiliser back into the earth.
Indigo’s lamb, with its free-range, paddock-to-plate provenance, is available online and at cellar door.
