Head out to Lanyon Homestead at Tharwa for this wonderful family day out in the gardens and join in the celebration of all things harvest and autumn!  Themed ‘grow-preserve-sustain’, the day will include a range of workshops (for kids and adults), demonstrations, talks, tours, market stalls, music, and a variety of food.  For gardeners there’s plant and tool sales seed saving, workshops and more.  Harvest Day Out celebrates activities that have, and will continue to sustain generations of people, such as preserving, pickling, seed saving and gardening practices that are being embraced once again as people choose to take better care of themselves and the land.
