Aylumfest is a 3 day book and pop culture festival in the buildings of Mayday Hills, a former 1800’s psychiatric facility. Feature Film Friday opens Asylumfest with a bang, screening ‘The Possessed’, the latest release by filmmaker Chris Sun, who will be there to intro the film and run a Q & A afterwards. Saturday features a workshop with Amanda Spedding and a discussion on the realistic creation of characters and their dialogue for today’s authors and there will also be Gaming in the Main Trading Hall, Trading Tables, Collectables, Artists and Comics and Publishers and Writers.  Saturday evening includes a ghost story competition and an Asylum Tour can be booked on Saturday and Sunday.  Sunday features Gaming a Modern Ghost Hunting workshop where you can learn what happens in modern-day paranormal investigations of haunted locations.  Hands-on with the equipment used.
