DINGO DELL CAFE & KB’S COFFEE TRAILER

KB’s Coffee Trailer operates from the Mt Buffalo Gorge Carpark only metres from the spectacular views over the Ovens and Buckland Valleys and across the alps into NSW, to Mt Kosciuszko on a clear day.

This location, right in front of the historic Mt Buffalo Chalet, is the ideal spot to rest after cycling up the mountain or to grab some café food and drinks and enjoy the stunning scenery from the nearby lookouts. An easy 2km stroll from KB’s Coffee Trailer down to Lake Catani brings you to peaceful picnic areas around this picturesque lake. You can leave your car in the Gorge Carpark and enjoy a relaxing wander down to the lake with some fresh food from KB’s.

The Dingo Dell Café is located about 6kms further out across the plateau, from the Gorge Carpark, at Dingo Dell, which used to be a popular downhill ski area. Nowadays (snow permitting) we can enjoy snowplay, including tobogganing, on this wide, gentle slope. There’s also cross-country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities nearby.

The Café serves quality café food and beverages and also has National Park information available for Visitors. Campers can pre-order food supplies with the Café before their holiday begins and pick them up from the Dingo Dell Café during their stay on the mountain.

Pack a lunch from the Dingo Dell Café and venture out onto the walking trails throughout this delightful National Park or relax inside the Café in Winter watching the snowplay activities right outside, on the slopes that saw the very first ski tow lift operate in Australia, in 1938.
