OMEO MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK

Omeo has always been one of the highlights of a visit to the High Country and now there’s even more reason to make Omeo a destination for year round adventure!  The Omeo Mountain Bike Park offers over 50km of stunning trails, with 100km open once the entire park is completed.  This park caters for all skill levels and can be found at Livingstone Park, just moments from the main street, at the end of Creek St.  Here, alongside Livingstone Creek, complete with natural swimming pool to cool off after tackling the trails, you’ll also find a fantastic asphalt pump track and gravel skills course.  There’s also maintenance facilities and a bike wash.  While mountain bike parks at alpine resorts close for nearly half the year, for Winter (skiing/snowboarding) and due to weather conditions, Omeo stays open year round.  You could actually enjoy the snow at Mt Hotham or Dinner Plain for half the day and ride the MTB trails at Omeo for the other half, or 1 day on snow and the next on the gravel trails.
