In the most prime location on the picturesque waters edge of Lake Eildon, only minutes from the town of Eildon and overlooking the marina, sits the El Lago Bar & Restaurant. A favourite place to take a break on dry land and refuel yourself after water skiing, fishing or cruising the lake on a houseboat, this location is also nearby the dam wall, so there’s always water access.

During the warmer months enjoy the expansive deck with majestic views over the lake and when the temperature drops, feel the warmth inside from the large fireplace and of course year round, the welcoming hospitality and wonderful food, wine and beer makes for a memorable experience.

El Lago Bar & Restaurant is renowned for delicious steaks, superb seafood direct from Queensland, a dessert bar, extensive wine list and popular beers on tap. Also a popular and ideal destination for weddings, receptions, car and motorcycle clubs and corporate functions, seating up to 180 Guests.

Open 7 days during Summer school holidays, then open Fri & Sat 12pm to late and Sun 12pm to 5pm (serving lunch – with dinner being subject to reservations). Winter hours may vary. Bookings essential year-round.
